Jaquie P rocking the pink bike...She is so cool.
Thom P of New England doing it right. Was he the numero uno East Coast finisher? i think he was but wont know for sure till I see the results...either way mondo respect for the man who rides a pink IF fix in winter.
Jacqui in the rock garden...
Not big enough but Thom P again...The guy just in back of the cat with heart rate monitor rides a pink IF sometimes.
DH Single speed...Mark Weir I do believe. Not such a fan anymore after the war of words between him and Beneke. It was stupid on both of their parts. Beneke was a world cup champion and beat Francois Gachet...maybe arguably the best bike handler of all time (he showed the alien how to ride) according to those in the know before he broke his leg. It sounds stupid to take sides because i am sure they both were throwing sand in the proverbial sand box of racing, but I am fan of his since when he rode for Marin and was running magura hs-33 brakes. Anyway, Weir was crushing on the DH and deserves his props!!
Mmm...dust anyone? I like the mud, but hate the dust.
One of the cross kings out for a ride in his golden under the but nut hut.
I just dig the skin suit...Wild. Barb Howe Marin maniac coming back after a pretty heavy wreck last season racing cross. Be nice to have her racing updates come forth again.Marla Streb: One fast serious mother...she just had a kid a year ago or. I went to her place in Marin when I lived there after she had sold it and it still had a ton of tires in the basement (like any self respecting DH person should have) and her test track in the back. Totally cool place but hardly big enough to keep two DH bikes in.
Man in black: The race winner in action.
Tandem: barely can stand them on the road, so the thought of offroad seems painful.

Lastly: I have a soft spot for IF bikes...especially single speed cross IF's.

Not sure if I was top East Coaster. I know who all but three of the guys were who got to the beer and showers before me. None of them were East Coast, so it seems likely...we may never know.
