Last ride of 2009.
When the weather turned for the worse with an impromptu snow storm, and the roads turned to ice, we were stopped dead in our tracks by the lack of friction- we were sliding. Sliding is great when done on a sled, but less so when done in a car.
Fortunately, a man with a huge truck drove by and offered us transport to the trail. The day was saved.
