Currently my steed of choice is the first iteration of the Intense 29er- a great bike for general xc riding. This was my introduction to 29ers and I have to admit there is something to them. Maybe not the holy grail, but certainly there is something to them. I have been really happy with it and I had no plans to sell it- it has been great even though I notice some of the shortcomings.
But ever since I saw the newly un-released 229 Intense prototype frame I have started to save my pennies.
